  • Milk (almond milk or milk of your choice) – 2 cups

  • Sugar or any sweetener

  • Water – ¾ cup 
  • Milk – ½ cup

  • Ginger – 1/2tsp, finely chopped 
  • Sugar – 2tsp for taste 
  • Chai masala – ½ tsp

Boil the water and add tea leaves with ginger. Let it boil for a minute when you see gentle bubbles. Now add the chai masala. For chai masala, add grind equal quantities of cinnamon, star anise, clove, and cardamom. Add the sugar and milk and boil it again. Put sugar, green cardamom powder, and cinnamon in water. Boil the mixture for 5 minutes. Now add the tea leaves and remove the saucepan from the flame. Cover it with a lid and brew it for 3 minutes. Strain it and pour it into the cups. Add slivered almonds into each cup and serve hot. It takes 10 minutes to prepare the ingredients and 20 minutes to cook. 

Cardamom Tea

  • Cardamom – 4 pods 
  • Sweetener – brown sugar or agave
